comes up to 2k...any thoughts

(this is for a store tournament this weekend so its for all comers)

I like it, good number of figures, not sure the Paladins psycanons are really necessay if you embark 'em in LRC with Draigo, and throw them into CC... you can save points to put in Rhinos for your GKSS...
But an interesting list overall...

well kinda wanna have the extra shots...as there are 2 ork players there and one of them last month had like 207 orks on the board....kinda wanted more shots:)

207 orks? Sounds like you need some Purifiers to me

...or more psilencers. I like the list but I agree with the need for Rhinos. We're a mid-range army now and need to get there relatively quickly and safely or those nice new juicy psycannons won't do us a boo of good.

a 10 man purifier squad on average not shooting or assaulting will kill approx 20-25 boys per round in hth. Paladins with psycannons are going to get assaulted within 2 turns once ur in 24" shooting range. If you wanted a mobile fire base of 2 wound paladins I would replace draigo with a GM with sword and pcannon hes 3+ in hth and shooting 4 shots per turn at bs6. I would get at max 24" range and kite with them and just constantly pop 12 str7 rending shots a turn and upgrade the unit with psybolt for an addition 6 str 5 shots per turn.

Just a thought.

id get some rhinos...but kinda already spent all my cash on this so far...will try and get some in the future

as for draigo i like him cause he makes the palys a scoring unit and with a 3++ save i can direct the melta and lascannon shots at him since hes immune to insta death anyways (saves palys that way)

I like the list, personally I would replace the 8 man GKSS with 8 Purifiers, the reason is they have extra attacks (up to 5 on the assault with Falchions) and you have enough Troops choices.

nice ideal

but i got the psycannons in there causes of the number of transport vehicles that are running around...palys shoot up transport with 8 strenth 7 shots...pop it...then assult the soft meaty stuff that comes out
