This is my list i'm using the little cars from forge world as scout sentinels.

2 meltas
1 flamer

Wow! Now THAT is a true IG-force. I wish more IG-players would use something like that - it has SOOOO much more caracter than the cheesy Chimera-super-elite-melta-spam og the old Leafblower.
Anyway - the Combat Patrol format i really a great format. Since it let people without much experience do quite well, because the number of models you need to control is limited. I actually won a turney two weeks ago playing DH... now they hadn't seen that coming.

Yes, if you insist on playing pure GK, you will be up hill. I play, a small shooty Inquisitor retinue, A small PAGK squad with 2 PsyCannons... and Callidus - Infiltrate is King when playing Combat Patrol.
Tactics are quite simple. In the early game Ing and GKs primary objective is bringing down transports, so that when the Callidus enters mid-game she will have plenty of targets to choose from... usually she go down and bag the key unit in the opponents list.
End game is about GKs clearing the remains

Yea I was going to play grey knights but I find a competitive list hard to make in our current codex. Thats ok though, there is a tournament in may I plan to use our new codex in!

Congrats on Best Army and a not too shabby placement. Well done, sir. Maybe sometime you can give as the skinny on how your games went down.
