1750 termi fun

first up, just so you know, I (and probably most other people) started grey knight because of the terminators! As such I decided to go for a terminator heavy army, not worried about how competitive it is!

army only has basic troops and wargear but 15 GKT and 2 LR's, lets see the heretics handle that!

Looks like a pseudo-Deathwing army. Should be fun to play. You might want to think of fielding 3 5-man GKT squads for more flexibility. If not, I'd run at least one six-man GKT squad so you have the option of getting the most out of the Crusader. You'll have a tough time foot-slogging or if deep-striking your Termies you'd be hooped if your rolls go bad.

haven't got the spare points for a brother captain needed for the 3rd GKT squad but that's a good point about making the GM's squad 6 man to go in the LRC, means I can keep the 'godhammer' stationary and keep up the LC barrage!

Loving it, something I've been tempted to do. As cool as the 10 Termie squad with Stern, better to move those members around to the Grand Master's squad so he can have 5-6.

The look on my mates face was quiet amusing. He'd never seen so many termi's in one army before!

Sadly though, as it was a small army, it got taken down though shear lack of men. Can't play a war of attrition with this army.

His marines did have two vindicators but he was to scared to fire in case he hit his own my and his thunder fire cannon did nothing due to the 'shrouding'.

Played the 'home and away' mission. He won in the end, but only just, that many termi's do take a lot of killing :-) was a good game though

^^ Long as you got in some slaughtering with your termies! Personally, I'd opt to try and make a specialized mission where your termies can be holding out against waves of infantry or something. They will sadly get swamped in competitive play, and bad dice rolls spell their doom.

Still, I look forward to when I can try a full Terminator list as well Glad you had fun Brother!

Don't worry they put up a good fight. My 6 GKT's Killed 4 (of 6) TH, SS terminators with storm bolters and a psy canon!
