Latest GK rumours

i prepared my collection to the new GK mini range.
i keep all my metallic army (with all the ancient mini range)
and i bought about 30 PAGK and 10 GKT (all metal) to make conversion with the plastic kits and/or with resin bitz if FW create something new for us.

I hate whole plastic models ... cause you can't collect plastic... but i'll use it to make original models (metal torso + plastic legs, arms and accessories if you see what i mean )

Rumours always put GK release in the April-May window. Though being in the far end of that period kinda sucks. Hope is earlier.

Re-reading the December BoK rumors and if even 50% ends up to be true, there's so much potential to be had.

That's what I was saying to myself......

The post was just clarifications on the old rumors as more 'info' comes in. For instance, I knew (or it stands to reason we were) getting special characters but I didn't know it was going to be around 10 of them with a quarter being =I= ones. To me, expanding or giving more detail on a rumor is just as good as getting a totally new one.

Brothers...If this is Limbo, I don't know what is. All we can do is count down to receiving our New Codex...81 days! Who knows what the false gods of chaos has done to push it to April. Oh Throne, cast your light upon me!

Its still just a rumour, most new codexes get at least 5-6 special characters if not more. Its most probable we will see 8-10 HQ choices, the majority of which are special characters.
Not exactly rocket science to figure this out.

I love 3 things about GK and I think two of those are going to disappear with the new codex. /sadface

Just to kill time and get some possible rumors. Fritz might be a good source of rumors like the "Inquirer"... A cesspool of information.

Yar, he's the one talking about the orange space monies with guns on their back. In this case, I hope he is very, very VERY wrong.

And I am still feeling really odd on the "losing Str 6" in exchange for force weapons all around. I guess this would overall be better; but I hope our Terminators would at least still keep Str 6...I LOVE our str 6 D:

Aaargh! I just realized another bummer thing. We'll be paying 15 points for extra armor now. Hope we get some price decreases somewhere else to offset. GK's run on a tight budget as it is.

It's gonna be a mess to set an army list!

wait the release of the codex ... all conjectures are smoke for the moment... who knows maybe they had included the EA for our GKLR ...

imagine a LR with a mobile sanctuary (against deamons of course) or with an invulnerable saving of ... let's say 4+ but every turn....

Tres bien, mon frer. That would be nice, I just hope that it doesn't cost 300pts for a LR with all the upgrades... my army might not be able to afford that.

yes i know and i'm a big fan of the LR and LRC, the SR ought to very attractive in its cost and rules to make me change my mind

I agree, it's a choice between LR/LRC armor and unit capacity verses SR speed and versatility. I'm a little old fashioned and like the looks of the LR/LRC, but being able to carry a dreadnought with your troops is a plus for the SR. Then again, a dread following behind a LR for cover is about the same result in points. It may be best to consider each pros for dealing with the battlefield situation.

Maybe could be interesting to have a combinatin including one if each...

I think I will try. SR: very fast moving, cariing a GKT squad
LR: slower, but stronger.

I agree. I've always loved the godhammer pattern LR and I think it is a good compliment to the fast assault SR. Of course, if one really wants an all-assault oriented force, the GK LRR along w/ the SR will be awesome!
