Looking for banner(s)

Hello Brothers!

The Immortal Emperor have given me his blessing to open a little website, to bring more of his light into the chaotic internet.
In these days i'm building the "links" section and of course i would like to put a link to this great forum.

Unfortunatly i haven't completed my photoshop training yet, more urgent matters are at the door.
Because of this, i call on all of you to command your techno-servants to produce a nice banner with the logos of this forum.
The banner's dimensions should be something like 256x53 pixels.

If you happen to have some extra spare time and are utterly bored, you might also enjoy producing other banners for the different armies, like one for our Daemonhunters, one for Orks, one for SM, ecc. ecc.
I might use those banners for the "projects" section of the site, but ofc i don't want to overload your techno-servants, so feel free to do whatever you want to.

FOR THE EMPEROR And his Knights! I can only work with a physically drawn object; the classical Sword through the book is probably the best choice to represent our mysterious little website. I'll see if I can do some sketches and post them up to help.

when you say banner, are you looking for something like an internet link banner, or something that can go on a mini's banner? whats the shape/purpose?

@ MJS : i'm looking for something like a rectangle, dimensions around 256x53 pixels, to use it as a link to this forum.
The link will be displayed in the "Links" section of the website i'm actually building.

Hello Nemesis, and welcome to the discussion
The site i'm building is just a little place where i'd like to show my works.
Something really personal with no aims (for now) of selling stuff or things like that - just my little own space in the net where i can upload photos, write things, share ideas.
The idea was slumbering in the depths of my brain since a couple of years and when i started to make more complex projects on my GK army (like giving the Lr a dozer) i decided i had to have a place where to collect info about me and my works.
This both because i tend to forget things (more then once i found myself asking : how the hell did i paint this? ) and because some friends of mine asks for photos.
This way i'll also open possibilities for other people to comment and share ideas / suggestions, wich i think is the real core of hobby stuff.

Yeah, the guy at warforge is really good.
When i saw the GK Dread i immediatly said: "it has to be mine!" - and in fact i just recieved all the pieces from FW / Karamazov
Unfortunatly tho, i must say you'll probably never see the Grand Master finished, as you can read right under the GK banner, his army was sold on Sept. 2008 and therefore there will be no updated on those projects.

And now, send your servants to work on the banner!

Hey just be careful using any iconography that is copyright to GWS, they are strict buggers with this stuff and you don't want them coming down on you like a pack of bricks.

yup i know, but i'd be hard to make a banner for the "grey knights" section without using the words "grey knights" or some of theyr images, don't you think?

GW is concerned about people who use theyr iconography and works to produce something and claim it to be "official" or "original", therefore stealing theyr proprety on the mark.
As i'm far from doing anything like that, i should not have any problem.
If they have any problem with my site they will just ask me to remove/modify something.

As you can see, this site aswell uses alot of GW icons and names, but as long as it's completly clear it's nothing official or endorsed by GW, everything should be fine.

On the other hand, i see noone is willing to make any banner for this site, so i can link here...not even an Admin...
probably people are still on vacation, i'll wait until mid september maybe...

Not only am I a total crap with photoshop but I can't even really draw...I like admiring good artwork though

Well, i can at least navigate photoshop and some other slightly more advanced softwares (can for example do 3d models, very ugly models but still models) and can probably come up with a decent banner.

But this site needs an awesome banner, and i should be doing other things.

I might have some ideas with a lot of free time to day dream at work. Nice banners on the site. A baroque back drop, latin text and a GKT(the epitome of Daemonhunters) striking with his NFW to start off. We'll see what happens. Good luck on your project.
