North American 40K Tournament
Brothers, the North American 40K Tourney kicks off round 1 this weekend (May 22-23). It is basically like a mini-'Ard Boyz tourney. Round 2 and Round 3 will be 1 weekend each in June and July. Each participating GW store will have a champion and score sheets are sent to GW corporate. The top 3 scores in the nation will receiving a prize. I plan to take our mighty GKs and see how I do. The lists are 1750 pts and any army can be used as long as it is from an official codex.
I need your collective wisdom and suggestions on what you think of 3 variations of my list and which one you think I should go with:
List A
HQ - GM w/ m-c nfw, p-cannon, si, ph and HH

it's the B that i prefer, (more GK in the troop squads and more anti tank power) but the decision was very hard cause i love the LRC

Really? Hmmm...my concern is I'm not sure if the small GKT squad will be as cost-effective as the dread. Plus the troops are smaller in size too...

No, I just said A because you firmly picked B. I was just being a putts. B is the the best list. Small GK squads won't last long at 1750 points. Shrouding or not.

I'm signed up for both the Sta Anita GW and the Ontario GW this Saturday (I just believe in being thorough ) But my schedule will only allow me to play at the Ontario GW.
How about you? Which GW will you be going to? And best of luck btw!

I have actually played a few games against my own army, it was very intresting to try and counter your own army, with your own army!

I would go with list B, it think it will be the most synergized and effective. Best of luck for both of you Brothers.

Re: North American 40K Tournament
It went very well for the GK players that day (myself and raven925).
Raven925 beat an Iron Warriors army (not sure what the KP and VP score was).
I beat an IG army. Luckily for me, my opponent was still rather new w/ his army. I scored 17 KP and 1730 VP. That's basically his whole army since I wiped him off the table at Turn 5
Also luckily for raven925 and me, the 2nd and 3rd round in June and July are also going to use Annihilation w/ KP and VP, the one scenario that I believe is most advantageous for GKs.

Re: North American 40K Tournament
thats... AWSOME! didnt think they would do the same type of game again twice, but oh well, i also noticed Rivan in your game that you would have been one of the top players but your opponents list wasnt the full 1750 only 1730.
