First off, the list is not cheesy. IMHO, having 2 LRs in a 1500 point list is perfectly acceptable.

It's nice to have the dread too since not only does it have AT but it can also tie up units in CC. However, one thing you might want to consider as a suggestion is getting a 2nd LR instead of the LRC. It gives you 1 more TWLLC and can still provides transport capability. This allows you to maybe provide a rhino to your SoBs (if you reduce them to 10 sisters of course) and give them mobility as well as beef up your other units. They'll be able to bring their flamers to bear more efficiently I think. Heck, you can even give them 1 melta gun and they can be assigned close range AT duties. Lastly, your PAGKs can also use their rhino if needed. Just my two cents...

However, if the dread is a mainstay, then I still think the list is pretty balanced Very Happy

Yea we need two LR at 1500 to be a viable list so its not cheesy, although I would go with two normal LR not LRC because you really need the AT

nice thats the same as my list i just wrote but i only have 1 LR and chose a cannoness and rhino, chimera to replace the LR

I actually want to keep the LRC, simply because it is dedicated to my GM squad for close combat (and I already own one and really want to use it).

What I am thinking however is that I remove 1 terminator from the retinue and replace the sisters squad with a dominion squad:

- 6x dominions
- 4x meltaguns
- Rhino transport w smoke launchers (are dedicated transports allowed upgrades?)

179pts

That way I compensate for the anti tank capability, as well as providing melta weapons for taking out multi wound units.

Only problem with this is that I now only have 2 scoring units, which is very poor for objectives matches.

True. That's a hard choice to make...

If you do go w/ the dominion squad, I would suggest having 2 meltas and 2 flamers so they still have good anti-infantry capability. You can also give them melta bombs for additional AT capability after shooting Very Happy

Ok I think I have a solution:

10x Battle sisters
- 2x meltaguns
- Rhino transport
180 pts

I remove the smoke launchers from the dread and give targeters to the grey knight squads to make up the points to 1500

I am thinking that this is a better as the unit is scoring and has strength in numbers. Having the extra boltguns should also make up for the flamers in a dominion squad.

Should be quite a good flexible unit, no flamers gives up the anti horde, but that shouldn't be a huge issue as your really decking them out for AT
