hi guys i played a game today using this list. it was a doubles game with my ally also having daemonhunters. game only lasted 2 turns i time ran out and my ally did most the action as he had a fast army with GKs in valkeries. i mostly did long range support and assaulting a huge tyrinid trygon

any way i was wondering wot you think i now some units are pricey

When you said the game only lasted 2 turns, did you mean you guys wiped them out or did you guys get wiped out?

Don't know how the new tyranids are in an actual game but did the extra stuff for your vet sergeants pay off? Seems like a lot of points on wargear that can add more models to the table.

General things I would say are totally avoid a CC Inquisitor.
They are 100x better with a psycannon, as a fire base.
You also have a pretty low model count, and don't have what I'd call a really effective backbone to your army.
The IST's I would assume would be better as melta-lemmings.
The PAGK is good but I'd go for a larger squad and get them a raider, you have enough points there to work it out, if you get rid of the deathwatch.
I honestly can't see them being better than almost 400 points spent on GK of some kind (thats basically a raider, and 4 PAGK incl. Just)

You seem to be going very combat orientated and I don't think your army is going to be what you expect of it in that form.

sorry rivan should have mentioned that the game finished at turn 2 on a draw as the store was closing so we couldnt finish.
the nids are eviler than before some of the units got better toughness, WS,BS and wounds and those trygon primes are a task to kill
as for my vets i never used them much. sqaud with lauchers held an objective and did nothing, flamer squad i put with INQ and they attack the trygon and land speeders.

zealadin my ally said there good as fire bases to with different henchmen and put them on the main objective so they can get free shoots at DS units.
1 squad of ISTs i usaully do as melta unit in a rhino i used flamers for the hosts of nids as i new id play them.
and the PAGK i am going to buy more so i can field at least 2 10 man squads in 2k games and possibly 1500
and dont worry the death watch are gone there not worth the points

i have also bought a canoness and will buy some SOB

Yea an Inquisitor with gun servitors and a mystic or two (i think they are the ones who give that special rule) are really good, but you need to kit them out right.
Something like Inq. /w Psycannon, 3 G. Servitors 2 Heavy Bolters, 1 Plasma Cannon, a Sage (+1bs to Inq), a Mystic, and maybe an Acolyte if you want to play around with wound distribution.
That way they hit hard, and deter DS'ers.

not with 2 mystics : with 2 you can choose (in the 12") the unit that will shoot so you don't have to over-stuffed the inquisitor and retinue

True. Back in 4th ed, before I started playing pure GKs, I used to have a purgation squad w/ 4 psycannons always within 12" of my inquisitor w/ 2 mystics. Needless to say, my opponents tried to DS far from my lines Very Happy
