Hi everyone,
Been playing 40K for about 18 months now with an Imperal Guard army, Steel Legion, with about 6-7K points worth it total. I was getting feed up of carrying round big cases even for a 1500 point game so though SM might be smaller army to carry round, however I didn't want a normal run of the mill SM army, so I'm doing a 1500 point Grey Knight army.
I'm got my HQ done & my 2 troops & HS are in the process of been painted as I type. Hopeful will have the 2 FA & 1 Elits choice in the next few weeks & I'm all done.
Pics will be posted soon.

Welcome on Titan. GK are indeed very different to normal SM. You have made a good choise. I think you will find a lot of informations and good advice. Enjoy your stay.

Well, you'll most likely be down to one average-size case for a pure GK army at 1500 points. I know I am. Welcome to the forum.
Tactics: All good in theory, all gone to hell in practice.

You will definatly be able to carry a smaller case with the GKs, and spend more time on each miniature.

welcom battle brother.
armageddon steel legion ? how you pull that off , i have been scrounging around for over a year to find legionares and i hardly have the numbers to make a steel fist.

Cheers for all the welcomes people, been that busy haven't got online for a few days. Will post up some pics of what i've done so far.
hunter - I orginally got the steel legion army pack about 8 years ago & then just added bits to that. I do have have 3 baneblades though so that helps on the points front. :-)
