well, an small tournament is coming, and I want to go with my army, but using a Blood Angels list: (the last GW PDF)

HQ: Master with two L. Claws, and jumppack (150)

Death Watch: 5 men with jumpack (85)

Troops: two assault squads x 5 men with veteran with fist (330)

Fast: land speeder tornado (80)

Heavy: Devastator squad with 2 missile launchers, plasma cannon and lasscanon (225)

Heavy: Predator Baal with heavy bolters (125)

total: 995

of course, I want ...

Dreadnought Psycannons

Ok, so a bit of a rant here but who's with me.

Sometimes you just want another psycannon in your army, and you want it to be on a Dreadnought. I mean, look at the Forgeworld dreads, they are amazing. I am planning on getting one, but want to use the Psycannon and Grey Knight close combat weapon arms on it. Reackon I could get away with using it in games?

Stats are: Psycannon Range 36" Strength 6 AP 4 Heavy 3

Please GW, update our codex and let us have them just like in Imperial ...

daemons and heretics will fall before us!

I know, there is yet another topic about daemons...

but NOW there is the official codex also here in italy (and I think it's so all over the world, am I right?), so why don't we assemble here all the tactics and tricks we can imagine to stops are sworn enemies??

first of all, there's some points that must be analyzed:

- GK special rule: you know what I mean, daemonettes, plaguebearers, bloodletters and horrors will still return in game after we've destroyed them? and the daemon ...

This is my first post here so I thought it�d be a good idea to ask your esteemed opinions about a real problem I�m facing:

I�m normally a WFB player but, apart from the couple of W40k tournaments I�ve been to, I only play my GK in friendly games against CSM (Khorne berserker type army) and Necrons.

Deathwatch Company - Using the SM Company box and 11 or so Deathwatch conversion kits

Sisters of Battle Company - Just using the metal models and the Immolators converted to Rhinos

Grey Knight Company - Again just using the metal models.

If you upgrade your LR with a pintle-mounted storm bolter would that then count as a secondary weapon system for psycannon bolt eligibility? If so, would purchasing psy-bolts once for an LR apply to both the p-msb and heavy bolter or would you have to purchase the bolts separately for each weapon?

hello all. I used to play 40K before the new chaos codex came out (and ruined chaos) but with 5th edition coming soon im starting Grey Knights. Anyway here's the list

I have no idea when GW is going to release the new book (some rumors talk about a new Inquisition codex, with all the options, just like the demons codex or the chaos codex)

But we can post our dreams and hopes... what do you like to see in the new book?

I like:

-bikes and jump packs, we need more fast attack

-and if they don't give us that, drop pods!

-heavy weapons: maybe a psycannon with AP 3

-all the storm bolters with AP 4 for free

-venerable dradnoughts, ...

yep, the Grail Knights recieve the order to destroy a big horde of tyranids that is threatening a sacred world...

and since you have more experience than me against the big bugs, I want your wise advice in order to create a 2000 points list.

as usual, first I need your opinion about use space marine, full GK, daemonhunters or a combo...

I'm a little confused by the section regarding the Inquisitor's Henchmen. Under weapons it states that they vary from hedgetrimmers to dental drills, but they should be considered to carry a CCW & Laspistol unless otherwise stated. Can all henchmen purchase weapons and wargear or only the one's that specifically say so in the codex?

as you know, the real origin of the GK is still a mistery... and that's good and bad: good because you can create nice backgrounds, but bad, because we don't have a primarch, nor official background books...

I hear lots of rumors:

-we are sons of the Emperor himself (the REAL Emperor's Children)

-we are the reult of a DNA soup, made with the gens of the 7 betrayers...

-we are the sons of one of the two lost primarchs (BTW, do you believe that Sigmar is the other?)

I have been to my local independent stockist store (the place i buy warhammer) and looked at the daemon codex, he had the warhammer one too.

He had "accidentally" put it on his disk so everyone could read it.

So i've had a brief scan of the daemon codex.

Feel free to ask questions about it, i might recall some things.

Hey whats up. Been playing warhammer 40k for about 7 years or so. 1st army was Dark Angels but while they redid the space marine codex and you had to use the FAQ's it just didnt feel right. So i started a Daemonhunter Army. I have about 20 stormtroopers in three squads. each with 2 specials (plasma, melta & grenade) 1 chimera w/ forgeworld doors, 1 rhino w/ forgeworld doors, 1 crusader, 1 landraider, 1 reg dread & 1 forgeworld dread(torso only) 5 termies and about 40 GK in power armor ...

2000 points city fight, help please...

Does the regular line-of-sight rules apply to Shrouding range as well? For instance: if only two GK models in a unit are within the range rolled are they the only ones that can be fired upon and therefore possibly removed as casualties?

We are having a big discussion here about sportsmanship...

some players says that sportsmanships scores are a waste, and claim that it would be removed, because the idea of a tournament is win, no matter how or what...

but others, like me, believes that the game is a game, I mean, just fun, and we go to play to have fun, not to get stress and annoys people...

I really want to hear your opinion, brothers.

white dwarf and daemonhunters

Does anybody knows if white dwarf had ever say anything about GK-DH?

I ask, because I think they did, but I'm still in Colombia, and here, we only can get the spanish (from Spain) version of WD, and is a very nice work... but arrives SIX MONTHS LATE!!!!

not to mention that cost at least two times the money that cost in europe...

so, if anybody knows, plase let me know in wich numbers they publish something about us, and also, if you know where can I buy it on line.

Psycannos and Incinerators will ROCK! against this new army, only very few units have 3+ save

- bloodthirster

- Heralds

- Demon princes

- feel no pain units

after that every other unit will get obliterated against us

Pack you Anointed weapon to get 2d6 againts the soulgrinder (13/13/11)

And also pack and inquisitor with sanctuary since everything on that list has Demon Rule.

There will be blood... demon blood, I hope that affects the consideration of revising the DH ...

Many of you are probably wondering why the Blood Angels were released as a White Dwarf army.

The reason is simple - Tradition.

Blood Angels and Dark Angels were originally released as one book. When they were updated, they had their own books, but were both released at the same time. Last year when they were updated again, they were released together. This time only one had a book.

The Dark Angels have more background than the Blood Angels, hence why they have their own book. If ...

Upon reading the rules for an upcoming Apoc game that I�ll be participating in, I noticed that the scenario will focus around a daemonic rift. I have a full 5000 points of Imperial Guard, but thought that it might be interesting to add a little Daemonhunter fluff to my list. So I purchased the DH Codex and read the sections on Grey Knights�

And now I�m hooked. Terrific models, great background, interesting powers. It may be that I�m overly impressed ...

Maybe it is becouse I am new to grey knights but does this mean that a deamon that has a 4+ sv that is considered invulnerable will not get any sv vs an incinerator or psycannon?

Forge World GK Dreads

I was looking to get the GK Dreadnought and the body replacement one as well. At one point you were able to order Forge World stuff from my local GW store but they no longer do it. They said they had too many problems getting the ordered stuff in. If a GW store has this problem I'm a little cautious about ordering on my own. Can anybody give me their experience on ordering direct from Forge World?

Hi, I am am here to present myself to the site, I play a almost pure (Use Ists) 1500 gk army. I finally found one site that has alot of players that play as the noble Ordo Mallus. I am new to the game and even if daemonhunters arent for noobs, I like them (for they are mostly high class melee/range elites) and see through there weaknesses (High Cost and limited AT) to victory of the emperor.

Heard of it? Well if you haven't, this is what it is. It is the new expansion for Dawn of War. There will be 2 new races in which one has been confirmed as The Dark Eldar "Lame!" I hear you say... I couldn't agree more... . Now why didn't they choose The might of the holy Inquisition or another race? Maybe it is one of the Imperium's finest because what would be the other race.

Another cool fact about this new expansion is that there will be aircraft units to command!! "Cool!" ...

A Battle Report this time, 1100 points, Grey Knights Versus Chaos (Khorny Marines mostly, but Noise Marines for Troops.)

Each Army needed one HQ, one Elites, one Troops and one extra Unit of your choice and be about 1100 points.

Ever feel the dice are against you?

I just lost my 7th game in a row.

And it sucks.

I cannot roll higher than a 3 in most circumstances. Except for leadership when I can consistantly pull out an 11 or 12 on two dice.

Anyone have any tips on improving dice rolls, WITHOUT weighted dice?
