The increasing of attack power
How do you do it. I've read tutorials on modding DoW but I have not yet found the way to increase attack power. Any suggestions?
Re: The increasing of attack power
I'm not sure with the relic mod tools but it'll probably be in the atribute editor somewhere,
if you're using corsix's mod tools then look around in the lists untill you find a damage part. I tried doing this once and found it but i did something wrong and broke the mod so watch out

Re: The increasing of attack power
Sorry for the double post but what do I do to open the folders that have the icon with the three red blue and green objects in it?
Re: The increasing of attack power
I think they're just data files, but you shouldn't need to go into them, where did you get the builder, I'll try to download it and find out how to work it

It's called Dark Crusade mod tools and I got it from Filefront, but just type in mod tools and it should show the link

Re: The increasing of attack power
It should be one of the applications you installed in the mod tools but you'll have to make a mod file first (i think) there should be a readme in the folder in the main DC folder

Yes I did, it may just be that I'm am about as thick headed as an allosaurus taking protein pills every thirty secods, but could you make a step-by-step instruction readme, if you have enough time. Thankyou, even if you don't do it
Re: The increasing of attack power
That's an interesting description of yourself lol.
"The warrior who acts out of honour cannot fail. His honour is duty itself. Even his death - if it is honourable - is a reward and can be no failure, for it has come through duty. Seek honour as you act, therefore, and you will know no fear."

Lol. I only say what I can remember, which a minority of the time is nothing.
"The forces of Chaos are but a Grain of Sand to the might of the Imperium" - Battle Master Ivanus, Black Templars.
"The difference between a God and a Daemon largly depends upon where one is standing at the time" - Primarch Lorgar

Re: The increasing of attack power
Try setting up a mod using the guidlines in the folder inside the DC directory
( mine is C:\Program Files\THQ\Dawn of War - Dark Crusade\ModTools)
theres also a few guidelines for using the attribute modifier, have a look around in a few files after loading "my mod"(try in EPBs/races/space_marines/troops)
I don't know if it will work because my version of those files is broken!
