Dawn Of War - Which one to buy?

Post by Legion Of Light on Mon Nov 19, 2007 5:30 pm

Hi there, i have been wanting to get one of the Warhammer 40,000 games for ages, i just havnt got round to it because i'm not sure which one to get. My favorite armys are: DaemonHunters (Derrrr Razz ) and Imperial Guard, so i would perfer it if the game included these two armys.

Also, please feal free to post what 40K Game/Games you like the most! drunken

Ok well for dawn of war which i highly reccomend you get, i would get dark crusade which is the latest expansion in the series. If you want to play multiplayer online or lan then you should probably get the others, winter assault and the original dawn of war.
Unfortunately relic in the original games or any of the expansions have not added daemonhunters, but do not worry brother! as there is a mod which adds the grey knights. The link can be found in one of the threads on this forum. Aswell as this there is a site which is a host for peoples mods which is also one of the links and failing that i'll give it too you now, http://dawnofwar.filefront.com/
Hope this sheds some light. Very Happy

eBay!

*Praexes swoops in* Cool

Get the anthology off eBay. Its easy, and far cheaper than 19 pounds (!). Wow. Don't think I even paid that much for DoW when I got it three years ago... In America, we have this wonderful (yet evil) thing called Wal-Mart. We can get shit* really, really cheap there, plus, stuff is usually cheaper in the US anyway. So take advantage of that by buying off US sellers on eBay. I guarentee that you'll pay less than you will if you buy in the UK, shipping included.

If you can't access eBay for some reason, hell, I'll post my extra copy of DoW to you when I visit my sister in Oxford this Christmas. I don't need it... the only reason I got it was because I lost (and then found...) my original copy of DoW.

*yes, shit is usually free. However, I'm using 'shit' as a metaphor for 'stuff'. It's an American and Australian thing. You guys wouldn't understand. Razz

Praexes do you buy everything off ebay? because you said you even buy your models off ebay. And In australia we don't have wal-mart but we got K-mart. Personally I think they're both $h!T.
