Never get a credit card

Just want to put this out there for all the younger members who don't have access to a credit card.

DONT GET ONE!!!!!!!

I have one, and I keep buying stuff with it.

In the last few months I have ordered the following:

1x Space Hulk
1x Gaunts Ghosts (6 models)
1x The Lost (Tanith First and Only novel from Black Library)
1x Tanith First and Only cap badge (from Black Library)
1x Imperial Strongpoint
1x Codex Imperial Guard
1x Imperial Guard Valkyrie
1x Shrine of the Aquila
1x Skyshield Landing Pad
1x Imperial Guard Advisors
1x Imperial Guard Commisar Lord
1x Games Workshop Paintbrush set
1x Fast Attack Bag

I don't have a lot of money, or a highpaying job. I have a great hobby and the ability to pay off my credit card in blocks of $200-$300 a week, and the limit on it is only $1000, I haven't paid it off in full for the last couple of months.

I caught myself today eyeing up the Realm of Battle table. It costs $450 NZD, but if I buy it online it is only $409 NZD, plus free shipping.

I'm thinking I will attempt to pay off the credit card by the end of next month, and then not use it until I have put enough money on it to be in credit by $500 minimum.

Am I insane?

Your insane. With a little work a sweet 4x6 table with folding legs thats thicker and sturdier than any storebought can be made for $50, based for $20 or less, and terrained for less then $50 more.

Ahhh yes, but I am too lazy to actually build a 6x4 table, plus I need to be able to pack it away so that my partner and I can actually move around in the lounge. Terrain is no problem - Shrine of the Aquila ? Check. Skyshield Landing Pad? Check. Imperial City boxed set? Check.
