Re: GW News
What?!! What are my Space Wolf Grey Hunters gonna do? I need Bolters and C/C/W, not Bolt Pistols and C/C/W or I'm gonna get destroyed (even more so). Grey Hunters and Wolf Guard the extra attack in C/C with Bolters, or it won't fit in with the fluff of Space Wolves being awesome in melee! Oh yeah, and the Knights will need it too, or get more attacks on their profile to balance their points cost.

Re: GW News
NFW nerfed. Possible True Grit lost. I'm tellin' ya. Those FAQ's better be fair, clear, concise and not only cover the 5th edition changes but also other issues that needed 'official' fixing for a long time as well (GK assault cannons, etc.). I'm gonna be real pissed if they don't. One good thing about the True Grit entry in the codex is that it's explained fully and doesn't just say refer to the main rulebook. If it did we'd be hooped. I'm hoping it's the same in your case as well B-C Validi.

Re: GW News
Thanks NemesisForce, if GW do mess stuff up and make everything untrue to the fluff, I may just make unofficial codexes of my own which, in my opinion, represent what I have read about in the fluff and what I think the army should be like. (But if I did completly then the Grey Knights would have to be almost unbeatable!)

Re: GW News
I don't understand the worry about true grit? Is there any reason why a special rule needs to be in rulebook? We have it it our codex and use it unless told othervise.
Re: GW News
So, with new FAQ's possibly coming out in July, does anyone want to start the guessing on how many pages the Grey Knight one will be?

Re: GW News
That much?
I'm telling you, GW is gonna kill the knights and make them a upgrade space marine unit like in Dawn of war!
That is my greatest fear and would be greatest hate!

Will be there left any other choice than sticking in 3rd and 4th edition rules, if they do that? I have meet people who keep playing old editions with friends, because they feel no reason to buy new ones. It works fine for me. In our gaming group Warmachine and Hordes are main games. And Grey Knights are only a project for me.
It would be still dirty trick and sad thing, because there are so many active players.
Re: GW News
no true grit?
mmm...
some sort of 'special unit' for space marine armies?
mmm...
I don't think so!
We can lead Imperial Guard and Space Marine armies, and I think it will remain the same, but an also have our very own army, maybe with new (and more competent) rules!
and don't ask me why, but I still think that a new Inquisition codex is in the way.

Re: GW News
I am inclined to side with Justicar SIRSEAN Brothers, I have faith that the Grey Knights will receive the attention they are due as the Emperors FINEST. With the introduction of a Daemons Codex it is only natural that their ultimate destroyers (the Grey Knights) be brought up to speed. Keep the faith Brothers.
Re: GW News
Let us hope and pray too the emperor that it will be so!
For are we not the greatest chapter of all?
Maybe, but too say such a thing might lead too pride, and that is a gate too corruption!
I must pray now......
Done.

Re: GW News
Just had a look on the Bell of Lost Souls, who seem to have an idea of the possible next updates for 40k armies. Sadly there are no Witch Hunter or Daemon Hunter codex in the near future - however, it looks like I have a seminar coming up soonish, in which I find out about all the new stuff for the coming year or so. I'll try and twist a few arms and see whats happening with our armies.

Sounds promising. And if that doesn't get us the answers we seek twist a few legs as well. Then noses, ears...necks...
