Re: GW News
Yes, PAGK can now go in Rhinos and Chimeras
Land Raiders still have Assault Ramps, and (IIRC) you can now move 12" and still assault - couldn't find anything that said you were not able to do this, cannot disembark out of fast moving vehicles though.

Re: GW News
Plastic Grey knights and Grey Knight Terminators would really help to diversify the look of our forces, and be totally awesome for conversions!!
There are Inquisitor Valkyrie doors available from forgeworld.

Re: GW News
But keep them looking the same, plastic versions of all the stuff we have now, but split all the stuff up, so instead of just having a single poseable arm and backpack, have seperate heads, torsos, both arms, legs and the backpack, just like regular plastic marines. Just keep the models in exactly the same style they are now.

Re: GW News
Resize some things that are off on the models and a slight beef up, maybe change the pagk halberd too look more like the terminator one.
The justicar in particular needs a beef up(just look at his legs, they are thinner than guard arms!)

Re: GW News
agree!!!!
our classic figures are too thin for a GK
I get lots of figures from other armies in order to represent my justicars (honor guards, veteran sergeants etc).
new and bulky GK figures will be awesome!

Re: GW News
I kinda thought that the models being "thinner" was a reflection of the higher level of technology used by the tech-priests to make the armour. Everythin else seems to get smaller as it becomes more advanced...Cell phones, mp3s, etc...
If the GK models are changed to much they will look like Space Marines with Daemon Hunter extras, and we don't want that!!!

Re: GW News
In 40k, most advanced tech is bigger.
Much bigger.
And grey knights if you wan't too be boring and such..
Is just space marines with flashy antideamon gear and psychic powers.
But much cooler

Re: GW News
Snowfire: I'm assuming that GK's can't start the game in another units transport. They'd have to mount up sometime during the course of the game right? As for the GK models: I just see them as the proverbial 'lean, mean fighting machines'. I'm just wondering if GW even considers GK's popular enough to re-vamp an already outstanding model line (toothpick legs aside).
Tactics: All good in theory, all gone to hell in practice.
Re: GW News
If gw does my worst fear, make grey knights some kind of upgrade unit like dawn of war, i will hate them.
Becouse i hate that idea, especially when playing that game and the knights insist upon fighting eachother!
It's plain stupid.
And i assume Taxi-chimeras have too mount knights as the game plays, and not have knights in them too begin with.

Re: GW News
What about digi weapons and such, they're smaller. I was trying to refer to lost technology, not so much Titans etc... Sorry if I wasn't clear in what I was trying to say. I was just trying to come up with ideas as to why GKs might have been modeled smaller
To me there's just something about Grey Knights that is very non "Space Marine with extras".
Their Terminator armour is more advanced than the space marines, as can be seen by the head positioning (exposed), and extra detail everywhere. Each Grey Knight model has the equivilant amount of detail as other chapter's characters have, which is awesome. Our characters like Stern and Torquemada Coteaz are packed with details.
If they could just keep The Grey Knights the way they are and make Forge World resins and/or plastics as they have with the plauge marines/Chaos and Red Scorpion I would be VERY happy.
What do you think?

Re: GW News
Digi weapons are not employed by grey knights, almost soley by inquisitors (and it's rare for them) digi weapons are probably made by Xenos or from the dark age of technology.
Grey knight armour and equipment is alot (10ths or maybe even hundreds of times better) than normal space marine equipment.
Specifically made too combat deamons, the armour is covered in texts of purity and prayer too make them shining beacons of faith and hard too look upon even for greater deamons.
It is the best armour there is, every suit is ancient and created by the greatest artificers.
Only reason not all grey knights have artificer armour is for game balance.
Then the nemesis force weapon, it is a weapon specifically crafted for each individual too work with only his psychic resonance, and when used by his rightful owner, is more like a limb than a weapon for the grey knight.
Their bodies is covered in hexagramic wards that burn red when protecting the wearers souls.
It is even woven into the armour aswell too bring maximum protection.
But all this would be in vain when facing the countless horrors of the warp if it wasn't for one thing....
Unquestionable, bigger than the most impressive of mountains, unquestionable holy..... faith.
Faith in such a matter that no beeing nor place nor thing can instill fear in their hearts, such devotion too their cause that it can be found in almost no other place in the whole universe.
That is a grey knight...
Not a panzy marine running around in blue armour shouting.
-Wohooo, look at me, i'm a SPACE MARINE!!! I got big armour too protect me, and the emperor is good!!!
Those are nothing compared compared too the purity and strength of a grey knight.

Re: GW News
Yep, you have to mount up during the game, you can't start in the transport. Also (bad news here) True Grit has been removed from the rules - not sure how this is going to affect us until we get a codex update. I say just keep using it as it is part of our special rules until we are told otherwise.
