Murhe, sorry to throw you off a bit but if you read some of my other posts, you will note that I work for GW. All staff have training in 5th edition right now, so we are all know the truth about it.

Another question, does the walkers rule saying that close combat attacks always hit the front armour still apply?
92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you are part of the 8% who still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your signature.

I might be bit skeptical person about rules unless I have the book in my hand. GW is not very famous about clear rules.

I noticed already that you told being staff. Some rumors seems to be true then. Would you like to say if there is in the summary something that is not true? I am intersted new rules because some of them will make 40K more 'modern' system that allows completely new things (in 40K setting) like running. GW seems to have more courage for new changes I expected.

I personally would like to know do the Land Riders keep assault ramps as they are granted only from 4th edition rulebook?

Great news anyways.

Any confirmation yet on the movement of vehicles and how it will affect the firing of main and defensive weapons?

@Murhe - No worries, you sound like me. Even I need the book before I will fully comit to something, unless I know the source.

Everything I posted is correct from the new rules.

@NemesisForce - Not sure. I have training in just under a week and a half.

Actually. start posting your questions for 5th edition on here, I'll compile a list and take it and hopefully get them answered.

Cool.

Will the force weapon inflict an instant kill or will it kill outright?

Well I just finished my training. 5th edition rocks

Any questions?

Defensive weapons are strength 4 or less, but walkers can still fire 2 weapons on the move.

Tanks move and fire ordinance and nothing else, or 1 main weapon. Stand still and fire all weapons or their ordinance weapon.

Force weapon - instant kill with psychic test.

Force weapon sucks.

Defensive weapon str 4???

Not even big shootas are defense then? That's just weird if you ask me.

I haven't seen the rest but i assume it's very similar.

Shame about the Force Weapon. With all the woefully outdated stuff we have to contend with it was one of the really few bright spots we had. No point in complaining I guess, knew it was coming. So you can't fire defensive weapons at all on the move? Not even instead of the main weapon? Does that still mean a Dread can fire both a lascannon and ml after moving? What's the news on any unit using a particular transport vehicle?

Yes to the dread still acting as usual IIRC

Units and transports - still purchased as usual, but now act like battlefield taxis - if a unit can go in a transport (following the usual rules) it can enter the transport.

So you can get multiple units in one Transport?

Nope, following standard rules, you can only have one unit in a transport at a time.
