Re: GW News
Hmmmm, we have stopped stocking Sisters of Battle blisters except for St Celestine, the blister of 3 sisters, Cannoness and the Seraphim Superior.
Grey Knights we still have everything, except for the named assassins, which went to direct long ago.

I can handle being the last updated, but our constant ommision from all of the new material is hard to ignore.

Well at least they did put in a two page spread showcasing Witch and Daemonhunter models. There's still a wee glimmer of hope that we're not 'entirely' forgotten.

Re: GW News
The GW place in Edinburgh still has all the GK last time I was there, but that was a month or two ago, but I'm not worried about that, there's not a great amount of GK players at my club, although it has been on the increase, (I now know two other GK players whereas I only knew one when I joined the club more than a year ago!

Re: GW News
Have a read of the FAQ for us. It sucks I know, but when you DISEMBARK from a land raider (or its variant) you can assault that turn, as it is classed as a assaut vehicle. Anyone feel like assaulting out the side door?

mmm...
could be...
the land raider can cover another unit while you go to battle... sounds good to me.

Re: GW News
It's funny I never considered nor used the side doors as an assault exit after moving full. I just assumed you could only use the 'assault ramp.' I don't know if anyone noticed or possibly even mentioned before that nowhere does it say in the FAQ that the Power of the Machine Spirit shot is at BS2
Edit: here's a link on B&CS to a guy who contacted GW about some FAQ clarifications. Two of his questions were on our asscans and the PotMS not saying BS2. The answer was same ol' for the asscan but apparently we get the regular BS for the Spirit. Great news about Spirit but is a guy saying he talked to GW enough to substantiate it?

Re: GW News
Well, just to confirm, yes, our PotMS is BS 4.
The Heavy 3 on our Assault Cannons sucks, I think we need to be able to take Psycannon Bolts for them, just to give it the boost we need.

Re: GW News
Other than the FAQ 'not' saying it is BS2 is there an official confirmation somewhere else Snowfire? Preferably in printing. My gaming group was good-naturedly shaking their heads at the new LR rules but still wanted me use BS2 for the PotMS shot.

IIRC - The next SM codex will confirm this. Until then, just tell them to suck it up and deal with it. Black Templars still need to take target priority tests for shooting, even though this has been removed from the rules, because of something in their FAQ.

Re: GW News
I've been holding off asking this question for quite some time in hopes of figuring it out for myself so I didn't look like the noob I really am. What the hoot does IIRC stand for? The guys I play with weren't jerks about the BS issue. Actually they were very polite about it. I consented because they had previously let me (encouraged me even) to use PotMS and asscans using Space Marine rules even though it conflicted with my codex.

It's all good. I only just found out what it was a short while ago, and find it really useful. IIRC is an acronym of If I Remember Correctly.
