Re: GW News
I agree 100% Brother Snowfire!!!! In my opinion our terminators have yet to meet their equal in the GW or Forge World ranges.
Re: GW News
Here. Here. And the regular GK's are nothing to sneeze at as well. You can pose them in more of a variety of ways than any other type of Marine out there. Anybody know the name of the sculptor who created the GK Termies and what other models he did?

Re: GW News
Ok so this is not really news, more of a brag.
I just got a FREE copy of 5th edition, thanks to the big bosses in my area.
And all before it goes on sale.

Lucky dog you. How's it look? Are there any DH pics? Did we at least get a passing mention somewhere in the backround section? Can you confirm the deflating fact that in the army summary section it still shows our assault cannons as Heavy 3?

Re: GW News
I donīt want to disappoint you, Snowfire, but here in Germany it was released last Saturday
@NemesisForce: They have mentioned the GK with three sentences. And no, there is only one weapon table for all imperial force and the AC is heavy 4.
And once more a no, no new pics of DH.

Re: GW News
Hmmm...very strange. On another forum someone said theirs read Heavy 3. France and Germany are well-known for doing proper updates as opposed to the U.K. and North America. I hope this isn't the case again.

I agree Brother Snowfire,
However, the Sorcerer does look better un-painted. Perhapse it is the paint job that takes somthing away from the figure
I can't wait to split open that dread naught and bring that Heretic to justice !!!
FW really are putting out some nice models these days
Re: GW News
I agree. The raw Sorcerer model does look really good. The attempt at painting him up in in a state of decrepitude really makes it look like a bad paint-job though. His putrid decay needs to be a bit more subtle. Never did like Chaos Dread models with their 'tree-branch' arms.

Re: GW News
With October comes the flagship - New SM models
and a new codex.
Cluster mines being dropped by scout bikes anyone?
Thunderfire cannon with three types of ammo?
Don't ask, cannot remember much of the weighty tome that I read. Will post more as it surfaces from the deep recesses of my mind.

Like the following memory, which is the result of a midnight walk
The drop pod can be upgraded from a stormbolter to a deathind missile launcher. This is the one shown in the rule book. It fires a large blast at BS4 EACH and EVERY turn. 360 LOS for it as well IIRC.

Wth????
How does it work fluffwise? Can it carry marines?
How does it fit both badass missiles and marines in that case?

Re: GW News
It carries 10 Marines, and the deathwind is a little missile pod about the size of one of the whirlwind missile pods hanging from the middle of it.
