other than dropping the psycannon, not much to do, but meh, I'll post it anyway Rolling Eyes

(I don't have the codex beside me and I don't remember the point cost for a psycannon...)

If it's Combat Patrol you mean unfortunately you can't use a Brother Captain. No 2+ saves allowed. I'd run 2 squads, each containing a Justicar and 6 GK's or Justicar, 5 GK's and a psycannon. Either build is 200 points per squad. I like to have at least one or two psycannons to deal with any speeders or light vehicles.
Tactics: All good in theory, all gone to hell in practice.

Forgot about the 2+ limit...that kinda sucks...

Could I alternatively use psycannon bolts as well on the Justicar?

What is the difference between a psycannon and pyscannon bolts?

Sorry a bit of a newbie...

Yes, you can purchase psycannon bolts for your Justicar. A psycannon is a weapon in itself. Psycannon bolts is an upgrade for normal bolt-weapons. It betters the AP value of the weapon by 1 and allows certain saving throws to be ignored.

Psycannons are S6 3 shot heavy bolters that have a assult 3 characteristic if within 18".

Psycannon bolts are an wargear upgrade that makes the bolt weapon ap 4 no invurnerable saves.

So, now you have the pros. I'd take psycannons, they are mean.
