My Army Fluff

Grand Master Taurian leads a Grey Knight Task Force joined by Lord Inquisitor Fournier and his retinue, which hunts down and kills any rouge inquisitors that have fallen to chaos. Their crusade has left tens of thousands dead, as they search for Benedictus the Inquisitor that instrumented the death of Taurian’s mentor and commander a century earlier.
Lord Inquisitor Benedictus had been seduced to the ruinous powers of chaos and had prepared a ritual to summon the Daemon Prince Dabulamanzi back to the material realm, but was thwarted before Dabulamanzi was at full strength when Grand Master Argon and his task force of Grey Knights interrupted. Argon fought Dabulamanzi while the rest of the Grey Knights stopped the outflow of daemons from the warp portal. Benedictus escaped through the warp portal, but not before shooting Argon in the back with his plasma pistol allowing the duel to swing in Dabulamanzi’s favour and allowing him to eventually strike Argon down. The psychic disturbance caused by the death of their commander drove the Grey Knights to the edge of their mental limits with them eventually closing the warp portal and banishing Dabulamanzi.
The surviving Grey Knights mourned the lose of Grand Master Argon, none more than the surviving members of his retinue, Brother Captain Taurian and Brother Tristram who had fought beside Argon for many centuries and had been mentored by him.
Grand Master Argon was dead, the enemy had claimed him. The hollow opening up within each Grey Knight could only be filled with retribution. It was not a choice they made but a simple unbreakable rule that had to be obeyed, Benedictus had to be brought to justice as such every Grey Knight there that day swore an oath vowing to hunt him down.
They follow Benedictus' trail but the former Inquisitor of the Ordo Malleus hides behind his cults, using his Daemonhosts and even corrupts Inquisitors to hold off the forces following him.
The crusade will probably never end, as Benedictus is forever plotting ways for the harvesting of souls for the forces of chaos and Grand Master Taurian together with his Grey Knights as always will be there to stop them.

Nice background there Spartan. Revenge is a dish best served cold. The whole thing would make for a good story. Once I get a decent amount of 40K lore under my belt I should try fleshing out my own army fluff.

Looks deecent, i felt pissed when that cowardly benedictus shot Argon in the back, a most dishonoreable shot.

Thanks guys, my aim is to then write about various engagements on their hunt and I will post them as soon as I write them but I have now got my army and they are all base coated so I am going to start painting them so may get delayed with the next story but I have some notes for the actual engagement where Argon is killed, so think that will be the first one.

Ok with the new in flux of members I thought I would spam this and see if anyone else has comments.

I like the revenge angle. You have left yourself a lot of creative space to justify battles by describing Benedictus as an illusive manipulator. This approach opens up a whole variety of possible senarios and storylines as your hunt continues.
