Dark Angels, eh? Interesting choice for an opponent. Did the Daemon player take a well-rounded army or just bits from here and there to showcase as many of the new units as possible?

I'm afraid I didn't spend a long time analysing it. The store guy had sorted things out for me before I got the chance to have a long read. Suffice to say there was a Deathwing (lots of those bone coloured Terminators).

Anyway, it's out on Friday, so not long to wait.

Did anybody pick up this issue? What did they think of the Daemons after reading the Locrus battle report? And yippee, Daemonhunters actually got a paragraph to themselves. At least they didn't totally forget about the #1 bane and nemesis of a Daemon army.

I got it, and it looks like Deamons are a formidable force, but Jervis should have tried to kill the Screamers to save the Land Raider, but it was a good idea to have some Landspeeders. I think I'll get some of them too!

Dark Angels?????!!!!!

please!

I have nothing againts the darkies, but, WE ARE THE CHAPTER IN CHARGE TO KILL DEMONS!

wait...

I bet thet the demons won...

of course!

GW knew that if they place a battle report between DH and demosn, the demons just don't have a chance!

so, they use dark angels instead.

It was actually a draw, the Dark Angels would won if a few more marines had lived (in the last turn the Daemons killed a couple of Marines and won a previously contested objective, which would have resulted in a Daemon win, but the afore-mentioned Landspeeder ran in 24" and contested a Daemon held objective, so they forced a draw!)

...What do I get for winning the bet?

Yes, the battle was surprisingly close. Although after reading the campaign report for the fantasy Daemons I feel sorry for the Warhammer players who have to go up against them. The Daemons seem even tougher there than in 40K.
