Leman Russ...

Does anyone know whether you get the Exterminator varient weapons (Twin Linked Autocannon on the turret instead of the Battle Cannon) with the Leman Russ Battle Tank (mk 2) boxed set from Games Workshop? I'm planning on adding one to my Space Wolves force (Yes, I can do that )

Sory Brother Wolf, it´s no longer aviable. An other point is that we can´t be sure if the LRE will stay with the next C:SW. If you really want one you have two options. First you can buy one from FW and second you can convert you one like i´ve done. Here´re some pics from mine.


The Autocannon is made from two HB from an Immolator, track guards, and two barrels from a Pred Destructor Autocannon. The tracks are from a Land Raider and the sponson mounted HB are also from a Pred. Some GS and plastcard and that´s it.

Looks great, I'll probably get the forgeworld upgrade because it might be cheaper than buying all the different tanks, but I'll have to wait a looong time before I have enough money. I may not get it until even later because I'm having a lot of problems with mobility with my Wolves.
I've just got a Rhino and a 5 man Blood Claws Jump Pack...Pack and thats all the 12" movement I have. I'll maybe get the SW Battle Force for the extra Troop power, another Rhino and some Bikes to flank the enemies of the Wolf! Or I could convert some Drop Pods. But I still have to get and make Wolf Lord Audun, get some Sisters of Battle to help my Grey Knights, get some Grey Knight Land Raiders, get a Legion of the Damned Dreadnaught, get more Legion of the Damned Marines, get a Legion of the Damned Commander and get some Legion of the Damned Bikes, Devastators and Assault Legionnaires.


I want too much stuff for my budget to cope with.

No need to buy all the tanks to get the parts. I´ve only bought the parts i needed or got them from a friend.

The turret itself is 20 bucks USD on Forgeworld.

Just buy that, and a normal Leman russ.

Shouldn't be that much.
