Well for the short time i had mine it is a great model, Brilliantly molded (Hard as BEEP to paint). Just dont drop it.

But the downfall is the price and transporting it to games.

thunderhawk

It's a great kit as previously stated and its game potentiol is awesome. I'd be pretty worried about a host of angry Grey knights jumping out of one.

Yes it is quite nerve racking for any opentents force seeing a Thunder Hawk land, blow stuff up, drop off a squad of Grey Knight Terminators, the leave. Wouldn't you be Anoyed if this kept happening? (Which it can, it can arrive, drop troops off, Leave, then repeat the process!)

Also: I corrected your spellings, try and use correct grammar, its hard to read if not Surprised .

i have the rules for the thunder hawk transporter :

it has hardly any guns 4 heavy bolters

it can pick up veichles to take them off board and then it may drop them some where else.

it can take off a veichle that has been damaged and the opponet only gets half victory points for them.

costs 455 points

meltas don't roll extra dice for penetration

can force enemeys to reroll glancing hits

as well as being a super heavy flyer

i know things !

4 guns that's it? But I like the vechile thing that would be useful.

4 guns and their only Heavy bolters? What are you on about? It has a hull mouted Battle Cannon.

Ooo, lol thankyou for using pictures to end the argument !

I dunno, as much as GK's need heavy firepower, I'm kinda drawn to the transporter ... probably just cause fluff wise it'd be hilarious to take a massive thunderhawk, put it in the middle of the enemys deployment zone, and say ... "Ok, this looks like a good place to get off guys..."
*wham*
game over.

good idea but the the transporter has to stay on the board for a turn to do that and while it does it counts as a skimmer for purposes of targeting so the transporter is going to get shot to hell! and it costs 450 points! this is an outrage! ( mighty boosh quote)

lol I have no idea what the rules are for superheavy flyers or thunderhawks ... hmm, do you have to keep it on the table for a turn without disembarking the GK's inside ?
