Kool i like this, well then to get started i have recent;y started on a space wolves army, i chose space wolves because apart from the grey knights all the other chapters are boring. i mean they're all just monks, they go kill someone and they go and pray about it.

I like how the wolves think, "we killed someone who's up for a beer?"

Anyway i was wondering if anyone could post an army list for the wolves.
Cheers

Of all the Marine Chapters, I'd have to go for Black Templars. Seriously... what's not to like? They love the Grey Knights, they love purging the unclean, and they love the Emperor.

I wanted to get a chapter that not everybody collected, and personally the black templars are really boring to paint i mean black with a couple of highlights doesn't really take my fancy.

Its even better once you get onto the terminators, the detail is amazing.

Evil or Very Mad Black Templars are NOT boring! As soon as I can get a digital camera (probably Christmas... sigh) I'll post some pics of my Templar Squad. It isn't just a few highlights over black! They have so much detail, so many possibilities; all the gold reliquiaries and trim, the deep red Maltese crosses, the red eyes... Evil or Very Mad

Right now my Inquisition army has plans to ally with either Black Templars or Death Korps of Krieg, depending on the situation. (vs a shooty army like tau, I'd take Black Templars, vs a combat/swarm army like Orks, Tyranids or Chaos, I'd take the Death Korps for their tanks and Heavy weapons platoons)

RIght now I have one squad of Black Templar Marines, mostly painted, and the beginnings of a larger Death Korps force: Two single Grenadiers, and a command squad. I bought the grenadiers over ebay, brand new, so I could have a look at the DKoK firsthand without shelling out $64/32 pounds. They're awsome. Cool

Well everyone is entilted to their own opinion, plus alot of people do collect black templars. Another reason why space wolves were my choice was because i've just read the space wolf omnibus, by william king, which I have to say is an incredible book. Check it out on the black library http://www.blacklibrary.com/product.asp?prod=60100181042&type=Book

Plus have you seen the stats for a blood claw plus they get 2+ bonus on the charge instead of one that's 3 attacks each in a ten man squad! 30 shots with a chainsword..... so much death Twisted Evil

And are you sure you want to ally marines with daemonhunters it means you can't use grey knights that includes Termies.

I only plan to field Grey Knight Terminators, no Power Armoured Grey Knights.

If the Grey Knight Termies are fielded an HQ choice Bodyguard, they can be used with Space Marines.

Besides, most of my army will be made up of storm troopers and allied Guard. Smile I just love the look of the Old Strom Troopers, and they look great when paired up with an Inquisitorial Rhino Transport!

Yes, actually. I live in the middle of fucking nowhere. The nearest GW is over 3 hours drive from my house. The nearest battle bunker is 6 hours.
