Inducted Guard

Good day all,

I've been strongly thinking about adding an inducted guard platoon to my DH for a little game diversity and modeling. At 1750, I currently run a mixed DH army with GM and retinue in Crusader, 8 PAGK, 3 Rhino mounted IST's, dread, and either another raider or for fun I'll toss in my Lord and his huge retinue. But recent games against a now mech heavy environment is leading me down a different avenue.

For only 350 points I can get.....

Platoon Command - Missle Launcher
2 x Infantry Squad - Las-Cannon
Heavy Weapon Squad - Auto-cannons
Heavy weapons Squad - Missle launchers

Not a bad dose of anti-tank weaponry for a bargain price.

Personally I'd go with a few Chimeras with some melta spam. Give a little back to what everyone seems to be dishing out lately I say.

I agree w/ Brother NF, mobile tank hunters will give your opponent lots to worry about in addition to your already threatening GK forces. Plus you get mobile terrain in the form of chimeras that can dish out a respectable amount of anti-infantry punishment.
