Ok, so a bit of a rant here but who's with me.

Sometimes you just want another psycannon in your army, and you want it to be on a Dreadnought. I mean, look at the Forgeworld dreads, they are amazing. I am planning on getting one, but want to use the Psycannon and Grey Knight close combat weapon arms on it. Reackon I could get away with using it in games?

Stats are: Psycannon Range 36" Strength 6 AP 4 Heavy 3

Please GW, update our codex and let us have them just like in Imperial Armour volume 2.

yeah i am with you on that, i love the forgeworld GK Dreadnoughts. And i would love to see a "heavy" version of the psycannon available to the GK forces.

I was looking the FG dread for hours in my screen... and I also dream about get one with a psycannon, and a close combat weapon...

but it will cost me 150.000 colombian pesos, almost 90 dollars... WITHOUT the shipping...

but anyway, it doesn't matter now.

about the weapon... I think that a good idea could be the next:

GK Dreadnought, 120 points, WS 5/BS 4/ AT 3/ FA 12/ SA 12/ RA 10

comes with a CC weapon for dreadnoughts with storm bolter, and a heavy Psycannon (range 38, ST 6, AP 3, heavy 4)

options: can replace the heavy psycannon for an assault cannon without point cost, or get a twin lasscannon (+10 points), plasma cannon (+15 points), or change the CC weapon for a missile launcher (+10 points).

venerable: ona dread of the army can be upgraded to venerable (+20 points), and get furious charge (+10 points) or tank hunter (+10 points). if get furios charge, can take another CC weapon for dreadnoughts (+10 poinst)

what do you think?

You forgot upgrade storm bolter to:
Heavy flamer: 5 pts
Incinerator: 10 pts

Or something.

I have the FW Psycannon arm, and in friendly games use it as such with S6 AP3 Heavy 4 Range 36". In competitive games I proxy it as a Plasma Cannon, and have had no dramas from anyone about it.
