Inquisitor Henchmen
I'm a little confused by the section regarding the Inquisitor's Henchmen. Under weapons it states that they vary from hedgetrimmers to dental drills, but they should be considered to carry a CCW & Laspistol unless otherwise stated. Can all henchmen purchase weapons and wargear or only the one's that specifically say so in the codex?
Re: Inquisitor Henchmen
as far as I know, some henchmen can purchase weapons: acolytes and warriors, but the otehrs just hace the pistol and the CCW...
Re: Inquisitor Henchmen
As SIRSEAN says. I'm afraid the stapleguns and Fondu skewers will have to be treated as laspistols and ccw's respectively.
Tactics: All good in theory, all gone to hell in practice.
Re: Inquisitor Henchmen
Hey, does this mean we get a little 'official' modeling leeway from a game company that is such sticklers for WYSIWYG?

Re: Inquisitor Henchmen
LOL, I'm going to arm the entire retinue with Lascannons. Think that an unwitting opponent will place anything in LOS of the squad?
"A servo-skull with a lascannon? You can do that?!?!"

Re: Inquisitor Henchmen

maybe we can...
after all, in the book the guy wih the big chainsaw appears as a hierophant...

Re: Inquisitor Henchmen
It is allowed to model wargear of Inquisitor to his retinue. If you have Eviscerator wielding Inquisitor, your hierophant is allowed to carry it.
I am planning naked Inquisitor.

Re: Inquisitor Henchmen
so, can we creat an inquisitor with a psycannon and an eviscerator? and even more stuff?
Re: Inquisitor Henchmen
Normal wargear limits still apply, i think you can only do this with wargear.
But an inquisitor with a pair of shorts, with a henchman with terminator armour, another with a grimoire of true names, and a third with a psychic hood.
Should be all legal for the inquisitor too count as having terminator armour.
Very stupid but hey, rules are made to be fooled with.

No, we cannot do that, because normal restrictions still apply for using DH armoury. Freedom is purely for modeling and representing wargear on models.
"All wargear and weapons must be represented on the model." Normal wysiwyg demand. "However, unlike with normal visual representation, it is permitted for an Inquisitor or Inquisitor Lord's Henchmen to carry items of wargear for him, to all intents and purposes it is still part of the Inquisitor's wargear and is not destroyed if that Henchman is removed as a casualty. Normal limits on weapons carried must still be obeyed."
Re: Inquisitor Henchmen
So the henchman with terminator armour is perfectly legal!
But strange.
Weapons seems like they have to be on the inquisitor though.
Unless the henchman holds the blade for him.
(Just thought of a cool conversion here, a henchman handing the inquis his blade)
