Nidzilla 2,000pts

I played Nidzilla today so I'm going to give a quite overview of what happened.

He was using 3 shooty fex, 3 CC Fex (T7, 2+ save etc) 2 Hive Tyrant, 4 rippers, 2 squads of gaunts (outnumber) with lots of dakka and one Ravener.

I was using LRC, LR, GKD (TLLC/CCW+Etc), Callidus, Inquisitor Lord + Flamey Retinue + Rhino, GrandMaster + Retinue ( (2 Inciner, 1 TH/SS, Hammerhand) 8 GK's 2 incin, 6 GK's.

I charged 2 Fexs (1CC+Shooty) GrandMaster failed, Killed 4 fexs with GKT after losing 3-4 GKT Thunderhammer kept bashing the CC fex. at 1 point 4 GKT (8 attacks killed a 3wounded fex!)
Callidus charged Ravener and sliced it to peices.
Inquisitor Flamed Rippers.
Lascannons killed hive tyrant guard.
Rhino tank shocked a Carnifex and crushed it beneath its tracks! LOL

At the end the Hive Tyrants crushed my dreadnought, Inquisitor Lord (on his own), GrandMaster+Retinue.

Callidus Passed about 5-6 instant death invulnerables! she also killed a carnifex!

In the end the GK's (3) were in combat with a Hive tyrant capturing objective. And my GK's ( had killed 1 Squad of Gaunts leaving one capturing (didnt realise there were 2 squads)

So yeah I was really disapointed with my GrandMaster + Retinue.
It was a draw but with another turn after turn 6 I would most likely have won because I went second.

Wow nice to see some models really pulling there wait (callidus specifically ) also nice to see the rhino crushing some tyranids.

Shame about the GM, normally those instant killing force weapons attacks can be seriously scary for a carnifex

Even though your GM and ret should do wonders every game, the fickle dice gods sometimes decree otherwise. At least you have the satisfaction of cleaning the chitinous goo from your Rhino tracks.
